New community hub for local village Chearsley

Chearsley Village Hall has played an integral part of village life for many years, however the existing structure is old and beyond worthwhile refurbishment.  Rectory, having developed a close working relationship with the village during the planning and development phase has agreed, along with the original landowners to make voluntary contributions of £50,000 each towards a new village hall. This encouraged the Village Hall Committee to successfully apply for planning permission for a new hall and subsequently secure significant additional grant funding to make the project viable. Since then both Rectory and the original Landowner have offered further funding to enable key specification decisions to be made to further broaden the potential range of services and activities to enhance the versatility of the hall for future generations.
